Residential proxies for web scraping
Scraping public pages at volume means spreading requests over many IPs and, often, fetching pages as they appear to visitors in a given country. NodeLighthouse gives you residential IPs in 172 countries behind one gateway, with rotation or sticky sessions chosen per request through the username.
Rotating or sticky: pick per job
For stateless page fetches (product pages, listings, articles) use the rotating port 9000: every request leaves from a new IP. For flows that need the same IP across several requests, such as paginated results behind a session cookie, use the sticky port 10000 with a session id and a lifetime between 1 and 1440 minutes.
You can run both from the same account at the same time. Targeting and session settings ride in the username, so switching is a string change, not a new plan.
# rotating, new IP per request
curl -x http://<USERNAME>-type-residential-country-us:<PASSWORD>@gw.nodelighthouse.com:9000 https://api.ipify.org
# sticky, same IP for 10 minutes
curl -x http://<USERNAME>-type-residential-country-us-lifetime-10-session-abc12345:<PASSWORD>@gw.nodelighthouse.com:10000 https://api.ipify.orgFetch the page your target audience sees
Many sites change prices, language, stock and layout by location. Add -country-xx to the username for country-level results, and -state- or -city- when the content is regional. State and city targeting is included at no extra cost.
See the location pages, for example United States residential proxies, for the targeting values to use.
Scrape responsibly
Residential bandwidth is metered per GB, so polite scraping is also cheaper scraping: cache what doesn't change, skip images and fonts you don't need, and keep concurrency at a level the target site can handle.
- Collect publicly accessible data only, and respect each site's terms and robots.txt where they apply.
- Back off on 429 and 503 responses instead of retrying immediately.
- Don't log in to accounts you don't own or aren't authorized to use. See the acceptable use policy.
Pricing that scales linearly
Every plan is a flat $1.65/GB: 5 GB is $8.25, 50 GB is $82.50, 250 GB is $412.50 and 1000 GB is $1,650. If you want to measure your bandwidth per page first, the $2 test pack gives you 500 MB. Payment is in crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC, LTC, SOL, TRX, ETH and others). Details on the pricing page.

Questions
- Which port should I use for scraping?
- Port 9000 for a new IP on every request, port 10000 with a session id when you need the same IP across requests, and port 11000 if your client needs SOCKS5.
- Is city targeting charged extra?
- No. Country, state and city targeting are all included in the flat $1.65/GB price.
- Can I test before buying a plan?
- Yes, with the paid test pack: $2 for 500 MB, enough to check that your scraper works through the gateway.
