Proxies for e-commerce data collection
E-commerce data work covers catalogs, stock levels, reviews, search placement and seller listings across many stores and regions. Residential proxies let you collect that public data from the markets you care about, at a price that stays flat as your catalog grows.
Catalog crawls vs. session flows
Crawling category pages and product detail pages is stateless work: use the rotating port 9000 so requests spread across many IPs. When a store sets a delivery location or currency in a cookie before showing stock, use a sticky session on port 10000 so the cookie and the IP stay together.

# sticky (location cookie + stock check, 10 minutes)

Some stores load prices and stock with JavaScript. Headless browsers such as Playwright and Puppeteer take the proxy at launch. Block images, video and fonts in the browser to keep bandwidth down, since residential traffic is billed per GB.
Stay inside the rules
Collect public listing data only. Don't log in to seller or buyer accounts you aren't authorized to use, and don't copy copyrighted content such as product photos or descriptions for redistribution. See the acceptable use policy.
- Respect each store's terms and published rate limits.
- Prefer official product feeds or affiliate APIs when they cover what you need.
